Shout Out! Workout!


Give a shout out to your workout routine! Don’t have one? Then, now is the time to consider working it in to your lifestyle.


A “workout” doesn’t have to be 30 minutes at the gym. Try including movement throughout the day. Be creative with things like wall push-ups, taking the stairs, intentionally parking far away to get in extra steps, raise your arms over your head often to increase movement and blood flow. Do a little research and find simple indoor routines like chair exercises.


Spring is here, and with summer just around the corner there are so many great outdoor fitness activities to enjoy alone or with family and friends. Studies show that 10 minute power workouts 1-3 times a day can be as effective as one 30 minute session. Give it a shot and have fun doing it.
